‘Sorry Mother’ was part of an exhibition entitled ’8 & other obsessions’ and focused on the relationship between my self and my mother. I played on the idea of the traditional hearts & roses tattoo design that many people adorn themselves with in honor of their parents, interested in the significance of the comparable decay of the elements that rarely get questioned by the purveyors of the work.
